Refractory ramming mass is made of refractory aggregates, binders and admixtures, etc. According to the composition, and ramming method construction, so called refractory ramming mass.The refractory aggregate varieties are divided into clay, high-alumina, mullite corundum, siliceous, magnesia and silicon carbide and so on.
In the silicon ramming material commonly uses water glass, silica gel as a binder. High-alumina, clay ramming material commonly uses phosphoric acid, aluminum phosphate, aluminum phosphate re-binding agent. Magnesia and other alkaline ramming materials often use phosphates and their polymers as binders. The use of asphalt tar or resin is mainly used as a binder.
The application of refractory ramming mass is extensive, mainly used in masonry smelting furnace lining, steel furnace bottom, induction furnace work lining, electric furnace roof light parts. Application in high-aluminum iron trench, slag ditch and large-scale iron furnace and other thermal equipment.
