Alumina Magnesia Castable Refractory is a refractory castable prepared by using high alumina bauxite clinker as aggregate, high bauxite clinker powder and magnesia as powder, and sodium water glass as binder. The average age of the package is 60~80 times, and the consumption of refractory material per ton of steel is reduced by about 70% compared with the clay-coated steel.
Application
It is mainly used for the inner lining of steel drums, ladle and tapping troughs, and has been widely used in the ladle for medium and small die casting.
Characteristics
1.Aluminum-magnesium refractory castable with characters of high strength.
2.Good erosion resistance and excellent thermal shock resistance etc.
3.The most outstanding character is its with good slag resistance, it is because the magnesia powder and high bauxite clinker powder in the castable react under the action of high temperature formed a new mineral.
